Medina EC is governed by a Board of Directors, made up of nine cooperative members elected by the membership. This board is responsible for setting policies under which the cooperative operates and making decisions regarding the financial health and well-being of the organization. These policies are administered by a General Manager/CEO hired by the Board. Each of the nine directors is elected for a three-year term and may be re-elected for two more consecutive three-year terms. Three directors, one from each voting district, are elected each year by a majority vote of the membership and the election results are announced at the Annual Membership Meeting.
The Board of Directors meet on the Thursday following the second Wednesday of each month.
