Government-in-Action Youth Tour
Are you looking for a week of fun this summer?
In June of 2013, three high school-aged students from Medina EC will join more than 1,500 students from across the country (over 100 from Texas alone) for a rewarding, educational, one week experience in Washington, D.C. They will have a unique opportunity to visit memorials, museums and see for themselves how our government works. All for FREE!!
Winners will also receive a $1,000 education scholarship and a camera.
This trip is organized by Texas Electric Cooperatives (TEC) and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). Winners will travel with other electric cooperative winners and chaperones.

Congratulations to Youth Tour Winners
The 2012 Government-in-Action Youth Tour winners are J'Lynn Michaela Rothe of D'Hanis, Samantha R. Saldana of Hondo, and Dan Schmidtke of Pearsall. Each winner received an all expenses paid trip, a $1,000 scholarship and a Kodak Playfull video camera!
