Lighting

Availability: Available to Consumers within the Cooperative's service area, for area and directional lighting of private property such as private drives, parking areas or other areas not accessible to the public. High Pressure Sodium lamps are indicated by HPS, MH indicates Metal Halide lamps.

Type of Service:
  Single phase, 60 cycles, at the Cooperative's standard secondary voltage.

Power Cost Adjustment: The foregoing energy charges will be increased or decreased according to the terms of the Power Cost Adjustment Tariff. Power Cost Adjustments will be based kWh per lamp shown above.

Installation: Light fixture will be installed on existing Cooperative facilities with secondary service is available. If Consumer desires light fixture to be installed where facilities and/or secondary service is not available, such will be governed by the Line Extension Policy - Lighting. Customer must maintain accessibility by vehicle to the service location for maintenance of the fixture by authorized personnel or service may be terminated.

Fixtures: Standard fixture consists of a 100 Watt HPS bulb, Cobra head fixture with flat or globe refractor and a 3-foot arm. The cost of Non-standard fixtures, bulbs and mounting brackets must be paid as contribution-in-aid of construction prior to installation. Non-standard fixtures are not in stock and will be ordered.

Terms of Payment: In the event the current monthly bill is not paid within 16 days from date of bill, said bill will become delinquent and a fee will be applied. (see Interest Rates)
