Member Advisory Committee

A Member Advisory Committee was established by Medina Electric Cooperative's Board of Directors to provide an additional means of communication between members and the board. Representatives from the committee report to the directors on a regular basis and provide valuable consumer input.
The committee is made up of cooperative members who are actively interested in the operations of Medina Electric Cooperative. They volunteer their time and energy as a liaison between the members and their directors. Quarterly meetings are held to learn more about the cooperative and to discuss possible changes or improvements that can be recommended to the board.
An especially important function of the committee is the role of most of the members who serve on the election committee. The election committee collects, verifies, and counts all the ballots that come in each year in the directors' election.
