Budget Payment Plan Options

There are two options for members who would like to pay a more predictable, budgeted amount on their electric bill each month. For either of these options, fill out the budget payment agreement and select the budget plan that works best for you.

  • Levelized Payment: In this option, the member will pay a set monthly amount based on the average use of the previous 12 months. A carry-over calculation will be made every 12 months and a credit or debit will be added to the account based on the actual use. A new monthly payment amount will then be calculated based on the previous year's average use.

  • Average Payment: In this option, the member pays the average of the previous 11 months plus the current month. Monthly budget payments fluctuates from month to month because they are based on a rolling 12 month average. There is not a settle-up or carry-over since the current month’s use is included in the current billing calculation.

PrePaid Electricity

If you would prefer to make lump sum payments ahead of time for the electricity you use, PrePaid may be for you. It requires no deposits and makes it easier for some members to manage their electric use. Read more about the program here.
