$677,500 in Scholarships Awarded Since 2000

As part of our commitment to support the education of the members we serve, Medina EC awards scholarships to members who have a high school senior graduating or are adults pursuing higher education. The number and amount of scholarships vary annually.

Since scholarships were first awarded in 2000, Medina EC has awarded $677,500 for higher education to 493* members.

As a cooperative, we place a high value on Cooperative Principle # 5—Education, Training and Information and the board of directors agree that the scholarship program is beneficial to our community and the individuals who receive these funds.

For 2024, the board approved awarding twenty-five $1,000 scholarships. Five of those will be for adults pursuing higher education and twenty are for graduating high school seniors.

Applications were due March 1, 2024. Sign up to receive more information about Medina EC's scholarship program below.
