*Update: As of 4/28/2020, this minimum bill change has been postponed. It will go into effect on 1/1/2021.

Membership was notified in the March and April issues of Texas Co-op Power magazine of a $35 minimum bill for the general service rate effective May 1. In light of current events, the decision has been made to postpone that change until July 1. At the beginning of June, staff will reevaluate to determine if conditions at that time warrant a further postponement of the change.

Members that are most likely to be impacted by the new minimum will be informed by mail and email prior to the change.
