Medina Electric Cooperative invites its members to gather for the 87th Annual Membership Meeting on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The meeting will take place in person at the Medina EC Hondo Office, located at 237 HWY 173 N in Hondo, Texas.

Registration and a complimentary breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m., followed by the official business meeting at 9:00 a.m.

The annual event offers cooperative members the opportunity to connect directly with fellow members, board directors, and staff. In addition to reviewing the past year’s accomplishments and receiving important cooperative updates, attendees can look forward to several interactive activities and member perks:

• Member Marketplace: Every member in attendance will receive a special registration gift from local vendors featured at the Member Marketplace. Participating vendors include A&Z Blissful Creations, Backroads Magnets, Geyer Honey, L&R Designs, Simply Made Mama Co., and Tallow Honey Balm.
• Kids’ Corner: Families attending with children can stop by the Kids Corner, hosted by the Hondo Art League.
• Prizes & Giveaways: All registered members in attendance will be entered into drawings for various door prizes, including a chance to win the $1,000 grand prize.
• After the Meeting: The meeting will close with a special performance by Summit Cheer and Tumble APEX Show Team followed by an open house to view the co-op’s freshly renovated Hondo office.
