Work on the electric system in the area North of Rio Grande City, South of Bruni, South of Laredo and East of Zapata will result in two 45 minute power outages on Thursday, February 6, at some point between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

One of the 45 minute outages will happen in the morning, before work begins, and the second 45 minute outage will happen in the afternoon when work is complete. Because of the fluid nature of the work, we are unable to provide impacted members with exact times the outages will occur.

This project involves replacing poles that serve the substation, and power must be cut before work begins and once the work is complete.
